Probity Advisors Vice President Christopher Sorrow Recognized as FiveStar Wealth Manager.

DALLAS, TX, July 22, 2013 – Probity Advisors, Inc. announces Vice President Christopher Tyler Sorrow, CFA®, MBA has been recognized as a “Five Star Wealth Manager” a fourth time. Sorrow’s honor is featured in Texas Monthly magazine’s August 2013 issue. Sorrow previously earned this award in 2009, 2010, and 2011.

Sorrow was selected based on research of thousands of wealth managers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The rigorous research process relies on input from peers, regulatory authorities, and clients, and the award is limited to less than 5% of all eligible wealth managers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Managers are selected based on their credentials, experience, client retention rate, client satisfaction, compliance and regulatory screening, assets under management, and other factors.

Chris Sorrow commented on the award: “This honor is simply recognition of the hard work and dedication of our team of portfolio managers, financial planners, analysts, our account services department, and our entire staff. It reflects our reputation for exceeding clients’ expectations and providing a highly personalized experience to each and every individual we work with.”

The firm’s president, Porter L. “Buddy” Ozanne, said, “I am thrilled our associates are committed to upholding the values established by our organization when it was founded by my father 60 years ago. We congratulate Chris on this outstanding industry recognition.”

Four-year winner Sorrow, vice president with Probity Advisors, Inc., has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry.
